At Davis Family Chiropractic, our goal is to help you feel better as quickly as possible—with as few visits as necessary—so you can spend less time and money on appointments and more time doing the things you love.

Every chiropractic clinic follows its own approach to care. Some require lengthy treatment plans or sell prepaid care packages, while insurance-based practices may be limited by coverage requirements. As a cash-pay clinic, we offer straightforward, transparent pricing and individualized care guided by your needs and your doctor’s clinical judgment—not by an insurance company.

You’re never just a number here. When you choose Davis Family Chiropractic, you become part of the Davis family. Once you’re established as a patient, you’ll also have access to our wide range of leading-edge health and wellness services.

What's the point of a "New Patient Exam"?

New patients get extra time one on one with our doctors. The new patient exam helps determine where movement is restricted, what may be contributing to the symptoms, whether chiropractic care is your best option and what adjustment methods may help, or whether another services that we offer or outside referal may be more appropriate.

What to Expect at Your First Chiropractic Appointment:

Consultation

Discuss symptoms, health history, concerns, and goals.

Examination

Evaluate posture, movement, spinal and joint function, and other relevant findings.

Personalized Recommendation

Explain what was found and whether chiropractic treatment is appropriate.

First Adjustment

When clinically appropriate, the first adjustment is included in the visit.

Chiropractic Care FAQs

What happens during a chiropractic adjustment?

During an adjustment, your chiropractor applies a controlled, precise force to a joint that is not moving properly. The goal is to improve joint motion, reduce discomfort, and help your body move and function better. Your treatment will be tailored to your condition, comfort level, and health history.

Is chiropractic treatment painful?

Most chiropractic adjustments are not painful. You may feel pressure or movement, and you may hear a popping sound as gas is released from the joint. Some patients experience mild, temporary soreness afterward, similar to what you might feel after exercise.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move easily. Athletic clothing is ideal, but you generally will not need to change clothes for a standard chiropractic appointment. Pockets must be emptied, no shoes, and no belts allowed on the chiropractic tables.

Will I receive an adjustment at my first visit?

In most cases, yes. Your first visit includes a consultation and examination, followed by an adjustment when the doctor determines it is appropriate and safe. If additional evaluation or imaging is needed, treatment may be postponed or modified.

How many visits will I need?

There is no predetermined number of visits. Your recommended care will depend on your condition, health history, and response to treatment. Our goal is to help you feel better in as few visits as reasonably possible. We do not require long-term contracts or mandatory care plans.

Do you take insurance?

Davis Family Chiropractic is a cash-pay clinic and does not bill insurance directly. This allows our doctors to recommend care based on your individual needs without insurance-company restrictions. Our pricing is straightforward and transparent, including a $95 new-patient examination with an adjustment when clinically appropriate.

Can I submit a superbill to my insurance?

Yes. Upon request, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan, deductible, and benefits. Contact your insurer for information about its submission requirements.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is typically required. You may contact our office directly to schedule an appointment. If your condition requires evaluation or treatment from another healthcare provider, we will discuss that with you.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Walk-ins may be accommodated when our schedule allows, but appointments are strongly recommended. Scheduling ahead helps us reserve enough time to give you the attention you need, especially during your first visit.

Is chiropractic care appropriate during pregnancy?

Chiropractic care can be appropriate during pregnancy following an individualized evaluation. Techniques and positioning can be modified for your comfort and stage of pregnancy. Please tell us if you are pregnant and discuss any medical concerns or pregnancy complications with your obstetric provider.
