If you are dealing with chronic joint pain, tendon irritation, ligament injury, or stubborn orthopedic problems that just do not seem to fully resolve, regenerative medicine may be worth exploring.
At Davis Family Chiropractic, we are building a regenerative medicine resource to help patients better understand the treatment options we offer, the kinds of conditions that may be evaluated, and what the process looks like when considering care. Our goal is simple: help you understand your options and determine whether a regenerative medicine approach may be appropriate for your situation.
At this time, we offer Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections for select cases. We also plan to expand this section in the future to include more information about PRP + Stem Cell injections and other regenerative medicine options as those services become available.
What Is Regenerative Medicine?
Regenerative medicine is a broad term used to describe treatments designed to support the body’s natural healing response. In orthopedic and musculoskeletal care, regenerative medicine is often discussed when patients are dealing with ongoing pain, degeneration, overuse injuries, or tissue damage that may not be improving as expected.
Rather than simply focusing on short-term symptom relief, regenerative medicine is often considered when the goal is to support healing and improve function in the affected area.
At Davis Family Chiropractic, regenerative medicine is approached carefully and individually. Not every patient is a candidate, and not every condition should be treated the same way. That is why the first step is always proper evaluation and doctor recommendation.
What We Offer Now
PRP Injections
We currently offer PRP injections for select joint, tendon, ligament, and soft tissue conditions.
PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma. This treatment uses a sample of the patient’s own blood, which is processed so the platelet-rich portion can be used as part of a doctor-directed treatment plan.
PRP may be considered for certain musculoskeletal issues, especially when irritation, degeneration, or chronic tissue stress is involved.
Important: PRP injections are not direct-book appointments. Patients must first be evaluated by the doctor, and PRP must be recommended before the office can schedule an injection appointment.
New patients: If you are interested in PRP, schedule a New Patient Exam/Consultation first.
Current patients: Ask the doctor during your visit whether PRP may be appropriate for your condition.
Coming Soon
PRP + Stem Cell Injections
We are also building educational resources for additional regenerative medicine services we may offer in the future, including PRP + Stem Cell injections.
These pages are being prepared so patients will have a clear place to learn about the differences between treatment options, what kinds of conditions may be evaluated, and how doctor-guided recommendations are made.
As these services become available, this section will grow into a more complete patient resource.
Conditions We Commonly Evaluate for Regenerative Medicine
Every case is different, and treatment recommendations depend on your exam findings, health history, diagnosis, imaging when appropriate, and the doctor’s clinical judgment. That said, regenerative medicine may be discussed for a range of orthopedic and soft tissue conditions.

- Degenerative joint disease
- Hip osteoarthritis
- Knee osteoarthritis
- Ankle osteoarthritis

Ligament, Meniscus, and Labral Injuries
- Ulnar collateral ligament injury of the elbow
- Medial collateral ligament injury of the knee
- Meniscus injury
- Labral tears
Not every condition listed above will automatically qualify for regenerative treatment. This page is meant to help patients understand the types of problems that may lead to a regenerative medicine discussion.
How the Process Works
We want patients to clearly understand how this works before calling the office.
1. Start with an Evaluation
Regenerative medicine begins with a proper exam and doctor consultation. If you are a new patient, this means scheduling a New Patient Exam/Consultation. If you are already a patient, this means discussing your condition directly with the doctor during your visit.
2. Determine Whether You Are a Candidate
The doctor will determine whether regenerative treatment may be appropriate based on your condition, your history, the chronicity of the problem, prior treatment response, and other relevant findings.
3. Recommendation Comes First
PRP injections cannot be self-scheduled. If the doctor recommends PRP, the office staff can then help arrange the appropriate appointment.
4. Follow a Personalized Plan
Some patients may be guided toward PRP. Others may be better served with chiropractic care, rehabilitation, soft tissue work, exercise recommendations, or a different conservative approach. The goal is to recommend what makes the most sense for the individual patient.
Why Patients Explore Regenerative Medicine
Patients often begin looking into regenerative medicine when they:
- Have chronic joint pain that keeps coming back
- Feel limited by tendon or ligament irritation
- Want to better understand non-surgical treatment options
- Are trying to stay active and maintain function
- Want a more complete conversation about what may be appropriate for their case
If that sounds familiar, the next step is not guessing from the internet. The next step is getting properly evaluated so you can have a meaningful discussion about your options.

Regenerative Medicine FAQs
Can I directly schedule a PRP injection?
No. PRP injections are not direct-book appointments. Patients must first be evaluated by the doctor, and PRP must be recommended before the office can schedule an injection appointment.
I’m a new patient and interested in PRP. What should I do?
Schedule a New Patient Exam/Consultation. During that visit, the doctor can evaluate your condition and discuss whether PRP may be appropriate.
I’m already a patient. Can I ask about PRP?
Yes. Current patients can talk with the doctor during a visit to determine whether PRP may be recommended.
Does every joint or tendon problem qualify for regenerative medicine?
No. Candidacy depends on the specific condition, exam findings, history, severity, and doctor recommendation.
Are stem cell injections available now?
This section is being built to support future regenerative medicine offerings. More information on additional treatment options will be added as those services become available.
