We are committed to keeping this office, its patients, and staff as safe as possible in the weeks and months to come during this unprecedented time.
We are making some changes to the way we do business as we reopen our facility to adequately adhere to the state health organizations and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
- As always, we will strive to maintain a healthy and germ-free environment with dutiful cleaning procedures before, during, and after patient appointments.
- In addition to this, we will be limiting the number of people allowed in our building at one time. If the lobby is full, please check-in and wait in your vehicle or parking lot.
- If you are feeling ill or live with someone feeling ill, please notify us before your visit and stay home! Likewise, we will be holding our office staff to this same standard.
- It is mandatory that anyone entering our building wears a mask/face covering. Masks may be removed once roomed.
- At this time we are unable to accept walk-in appointments. All appointments must be booked ahead of time either online or by calling the office @ (440) 624-4214.
- We will be actively enforcing our 24-hour cancellation policy out of consideration for our staff and limited business hours.
- Our business hours may be fluid and variable with limited appointment bookings. If you cannot find an appropriate appointment online, please call the office and we will assist you to the best of our abilities.
Here are some effective ways to boost your immune system:
- Eat fruits and vegetables high in Vitamin C (broccoli, cantaloupe, cauliflower, kale, kiwi, orange juice, papaya, red, green or yellow pepper, sweet potato, strawberries, and tomatoes)
- Consume foods high in Zinc (red meat, shellfish, legumes; seeds like squash, pumpkin, sesame, and hemp; nuts like pine nuts, peanuts, cashews, and almonds; cheese, milk, eggs; whole grains like wheat, quinoa, rice, and oats; and even dark chocolate)
- Keep up on your Vitamin D and calcium.
- Exercise regularly
- Get good amounts of sleep
- Keep yourself clean
Herbs and spices that kill viruses:
- Oregano
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Elderberry
- Wassabi
Most effective ways to stop the spreading of disease:
- Practice social distancing by not participating in large events or gatherings of people. Work from home instead of at the office. Visit with friends and family virtually through the use of electronic devices rather than in person.
- Wash your hands regularly with anti-bacterial soap and water for at least 20 seconds, paying close attention to underneath your fingernails.
- If you are feeling ill, or you live with someone feeling ill, please stay home and avoid contact with other people.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes in the crook of your arm.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Wearing a mask to cover your nose and mouth can help reduce and remind you of this.
