Born and raised in Jefferson, Dr. Adam Davis and his Davis Family Chiropractic business want to improve people’s lives and revolutionize healthcare.

Davis has been a licensed chiropractor for 13 years and has owned Davis Family Chiropractic for three years.

He is certified in neurological therapy treating Alzheimer’s, dementia, attention, balance, movement, hearing, and visual disorders.

Davis believes he differs from other chiropractors as he specializes in brain therapy and nutrition.

Davis believes in treating the whole body, not just where a person feels aches and pains.

“The brain runs the body, so we know we can make the body feel better if we work on the brain,” says Davis.

Recently, Davis earned his fourth diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology to go along with other diplomates in Applied Kinesiology, Clinical Nutrition, and Chiropractic Acupuncture. Diplomates are degrees doctors earn post their doctorate. Each diplomate takes up to 300 hours of coursework.

Davis says earning diplomates have made him a better therapist and adds more to his repertoire.

“I’m a constant studier,” said Davis.

Davis decided to be a chiropractor after a skate-boarding accident injured his back when he was 13 years old.

He remembers going to visit a traditional chiropractor who was able to temporarily remove the pain.

He then tried a chiropractor who used applied kinesiology to treat him and his back injury improved drastically.

Davis says the experience stuck with him, which led him to be a chiropractor.

“I thought it was neat to fix someone’s blood chemistry or to take away some’s ache and pains using my hands or my head,” said Davis.

Davis believes his holistic approach to brain therapy and nutrition serves a patient better than feeding them medication for their ailments.

In Davis’ opinion, he thinks the United States has become an “over-prescribed country.”

Davis is not against medication, but it is something he rarely gives to his patients. By focusing on neurology and nutrition, he believes there is a link between a person’s diet ad body aches.

“I focus on cleaning up their diet and if they’re overweight, we address the weight issues and just work on weight loss with patients. If your knee hurts, I can fix your diet and your knee pain will go away,” said Davis.

Davis gives dietary advice and recommends diet supplements and vitamins as a treatment for patients who are overweight.

As an extension of the chiropractic business, he also offers a weight loss program for patients called the Natural Fit Program. Patients involved in Davis’ Natural Fit Program have seen dramatic lifestyle changes without a comprehensive exercise regimen. A recent patient and participant in the Natural Fit Program lost 170 pounds in a year thanks to Davis’ recommended diet supplements and diet plan.

With an accomplished chiropractic business and wealth of knowledge, Davis wants to see the community he grew up in have better lives.

“My door is open to anybody that wants to look better and feel better. I’m here for the public so everybody feels better,” said Davis.

Davis Family Chiropractic is located at 1484 OH-46 N., Suite 7, Jefferson.
